This was my husband's idea, but it was left up to me to bring it to life. (By the way, this is Robyn posting.) I was lazy, not to mention my ancient oven is a terrible bread maker, so I bought the bread bowls 4 for $1.75 at Food-4-Less. Yes, cheap and tasty, just the way I like it. :)Then I made Manhattan Clam Chowder (YUCK!, but Paul says it is delicious) and potato chowder for myself. I took the recipe for the clam chowder from the Better Homes & Gardens Cook Book, 75th Anniversary Edition. This is totally unlike me, but I had to follow the recipe EXACTLY for once, because I couldn't taste it for fear of throwing up in it. :) My potato chowder was my own made up recipe and turned out delicious! Paul really enjoyed the clam chowder as well. So, for all of you sea food lovers out there, I am sure it would have tasted good to you to.
Here is the final result.
It was enjoyed by Alex as well.

Is the oven a terrible bread maker, or is that you. haha. just kidding. That's why you never make bread then.
Did alex eat the clam chowder?? ewww...
When we were little, Robyn would instantly throw up if you gave her clam chowder. Dad tried to make her eat it once, big mistake. I believe he had puke for a shirt after that.
These look great! :)
